Right up into junior high school, Jason was one of my closest friends. He was so kind, interesting, and loved tractor-trailers. He talked constantly about his extended family and their trucks. He was an excellent artist and drew a remarkable deer in the second grade. He loved to talk about hunting. He was obsessed with The Karate Kid and once did a karate demonstration as a school project. In elementary school, he used to get in trouble for talking a bit too much, often to me. The only detention I ever served in school was for whispering to Jason in my second-grade teacher's class. I will miss all he could have offered to our world in the future. Thinking of your family!!!
